Sacramental Certificate Request

To obtain sacramental certificates for Sacraments received at St. Augustine Cathedral Parish, please download the Sacramental Cerificate Request Form and send it to:

A cerificate will be mailed to you. Please note that sacramental records are confidential and may not be requested by anyone other than the person for whom the information pertains. The only exceptions are:
1) A parent request for a minor child
2) A request from another Catholic parish or tribunal for sacramental purposes

All other requests must have a signed letter from the person whose record is being sought authorizing the release of information.

Baptism
All families wishing to have their child baptized are asked to contact the Parish Office at 269-345-5147. New parents are required to attend a preparation session prior to the intended baptism. Preparation sessions are scheduled individually, please call the parish office for an appointment.

First Holy Communion and Confirmation

The Religious Education Program for St. Augustine Parish is combined with St. Thomas More Catholic Student Parish. Sacramental preparation is a two year process which begins no earlier than a child's 1st grade year of school (7th grade for Confirmation). Please go the the Religious Education for Children tab for more information.

Marriage

Please contact the Parish Office at least six months before the marriage date to arrange for marriage preparation and discuss requirements with a priest.
